Sharon Parris-Chambers was born in Kingston, Jamaica W.I. She is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer for Let’s Do It In The Caribbean Ltd. headquartered in Jamaica. The Company has focused competencies in: Integrated Tourism Marketing, Public Relations, News production. A leader in the development of Health Tourism, Sharon was instrumental in helping to establish Jamaica as a Health & Spa destination (2005-2009) through working collaboratively with Jamaica’s Ministry of Tourism and its agencies (Tourism Product Development Co. and Jamaica Tourist Board); Jamaica Promotions Company (JAMPRO) and the Jamaica Business Development Corporation (JBDC).  Sharon and her partner, Theo Chambers were the founders of the first Spa Association in Jamaica, Caribbean Resort and Day Spa Association and the Caribbean Chapter of the International Medical Spa Association.

Sharon is a former V.P. of the Spa Standards Steering Committee and has been recognized by Tourism Product Development Company and the Bureau of Standards Jamaica for leading the Spa Standards Development, which has been approved for implementation in Jamaica and thereafter in the wider Caribbean by CROSQ.

The Small Business Association Of Jamaica 

The Small Businesses Association of Jamaica (SBAJ) is an NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) business organization registered in 1974 to foster the growth and development of businesses and professional groups and to represent the entire small and micro business sector. The SBAJ represents businesses employing One to Fifty (1-50) employees and has an income turn over not exceeding five million US dollars per annum ($US5M). The business should not be a part of a conglomerate.

Mission Statement:

To support the economic and social advancement of the membership through: The provision of technical advice, training, consultancy and trade services. The promotion of the principles of private enterprise and innovation. The association will also represent the views of the membership to the wider public, encourage the spirit of collaboration and cooperation and build positive examples of enthusiasm, dedication, consultancy and leadership.
